Thread: Crackman Hybrid v2 Findings / Questions / Problems

BBCrackman...I have a question regarging the app TalkLock....you said it can be a memory drain. On the .114 Hybrid v2 is there a correction so the "Mute" button cannot be activated by your ear while talking on the phone? That is the only reason I have that app installed.

Couple of questions. I am trying to see where my memory leak is and I have jNetX Call Reminder installed and can not seem to find a way to get rid of it. It is not listed as an application on the desktop manager, or the Storm nor as a module. Anyone know how to make this go away? Also, I am running "MemoryUp Pro" (www.emobistudio.com) to try and help with memory issues. Not sure if it is helping or not but does seem to make things a bit better. Anyone else tried this?

Make sure you rename your OS in loader files/rt click "Rename" and just put an "A" on the end. This way the DM wont try and update your core apps.

Open your DM, go to Apploader/add/remove programs and uncheck JNetX and this will uninstall the program

Then you didn't copy the files over correctly. The same thing happened to me the first time. Wipe and start over. lol

I will wipe and do it again when I get home since my settings are backed up on my pc at home. BTW how many times can you swipe as phone? LOL

Not sure if it's worth $3 to you or not, but I removed talklock and installed "stormlock" instead. Seems to work alot better and I have yet to hear of any memory problems associated with it. There's a free trial too so if you don't like it you can just get rid of it.

Anyone having issues with Visual VM , I did a full wipe using JL and loaded Hyrbid V2 using loader everything works fine but I cant seem to get VVM to connect, worked fine in .109....any ideas. I downed the version from the APP center.

is deleting "vendor.xml" a critical step in the installation? just wondering if i neede to start over? thanks,

it is only critical if the os you are installing is not from verizon

But, it is safe to delete in any case, so deleting it when your not sure which vendor the os is from is the way to go

check in applications to be sure it is installed: options/advanced options/applications

also disable compatability mode while your there if it is indeed installed: highlight/bbkey/disable compat. mode

I am installing the .114 os with the Hybrid v2. these are being installed on a verizon 9530, so i should be ok?

well you need to go to options, security options then hit the menu button and select wipe.

dam thing will not run I launch it I get the EULA and it will not let me get past that, gonna wipe n reinstall .114 Hybrid v2.

First thing, do you have your sim card installed in the phone?

Yes, it is in there. It came from my central office installed. Should it not be?

It doesn't matter if you use verizon. removing it is a know fix for the reboot issue.

mines been out for a couple months, and I haven't had any problems

I went there and there is no choice of wipe. Not that I want to, mine is doing great. Just wondered how since I see it discussed in here.
