BlackBerry Attachment Service Fix for 5.0.0.140

For folks that do not have Attachment Service showing in DM (or are having issues forwarding messages with attachments), here is a fix that worked for me:

I installed 4.7.0.151 and copied the DocViewer.alx file from the main folder. I pasted this file into the main OS folder for 5.0.0.140 (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9530AllLang_v5.0.0.140_P4.2.0.17) and re-ran app loader. Problem solved!

When I was done, I deleted .151 from C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files and used Add/Remove Programs to remove the same to make sure that I did not confuse my most-assuredly-already-frazzled device.

The .alx file is attached.

Great stuff Lou. Thanks. Now can someone just post the alx file so that we don't have to reload 4.7 to get to it? Is that possible?

Does anybody have a suggestion in regards to what file in 5.0 might be causing a message that the memory card inserted message to remain on the screen?
