PLEASE READ...Shrink a OS and 5.0 OS

I am posting this now as I am preparing to do a test. All the problems that everyone is having with Shrink and the new os's. Can you please post here what all you are deleteing? I am going to do a test and delete the things I normally do.
I always delete all languages, all IM's except BBM, wordmole, Default backgrounds, help files, ota upgrade, password keeper, tty, vcast rhap, vodafone music, vznav. and that is it.

What I am wondering is if somepeople are removing more and that is causing the issues. I will let you know how it turns out but in the mean time please let me konw what you delete.

I have removed all languages, games, DocsToGo, Application Center, BB Maps, Password Keeper, TTY, Vodafone, Voice activated dialing, and VZNav.
I have had a few errors during start up and on the clock when setting alarm time, the hour and am/pm will not scroll. When I hit the change wallpaper button, the storm completely freezes.

The original problem of shrink was that some files were moved that were important for phone operation. I think that it is most prudent to not use it on the O.S. Until that has been resolved. If you would like I will try to compile a list of files that need to be put back. But this is very advanced stuff and don't think most people should attempt it.

Okay I will update this as I go along.

UpDate: I downloaded the shrink program again this morning and when I ran it again I did not see the number of files there as I did yesterday. These are the only three files I put back.

That would be great, shrink a os is too valuable, it would be nice to know what is required in 5.0

P3 thank you for the advice,,, I am bored and really dont mind bricking my phone... I think it is application center, and maybe one other that cause this to happen, but we will see here in about 30 min when i get this done ;)

I also really just made this thread to help me see what it is pple are deleting causing these errors as I have always used shrink, and not had a problem, but P3 is right I have been doing this for a lil while this should not be attempted if you do not have the experance

Btw, lyricidal released an update yesterday for the shrink.

And to answer jnepsa's question...when I shrink, the only things I leave are bbm, default font and default themes. Everything else goes. :)

Not yet, as lyricidal hasn't answered it yet. But just FYI, when you shrink you gain not more than 5mb. With 5.0, I would avoid it unless you have solid answer that it works well on 5.0 and others have done it without issues. :)

net rim bb sendusingbluetoothapp.cod - fixed yesterday, didnt change version number of shrink, but if you redownload it, its fixed - this was caused by UK English removal

These are Sim Card Capablity related, maybe they can't be removed in 5.0
