I give up! I have been trying all day to get this to work, but without fail, every 4 to 5 minutes the phone resets itself and there seems to be nothing I can do about it. I have tried to wipe and reload twice but to no avail. I am assuming that no one else is having this problem since I have not seen it posted. Any thoughts?
No I have not, should I be? I do not usually remove it when changing OS, but hell if it works I will try anything at this point!
is known that sometimes that may causes ramdom reboots, so if you havent tried that might help but i will suggest at this point to first go to options, security options, general settings, select wiped device, then wipe the device using any software to do so, and finally reload the os.
of course make sure to do a full back up first
OK thanks for your help, I will try it and report back.
Has it been determined that this should not be done before installing this operating system?
When you install the OS, before running in you want delete something call RIM Internal Tools. You can delete it from your add/remove programs within the control panel.
Another thing is that when you install the OS, it will be running BBM 4.7. Do not delete this file. You will want to install the OS 5 BBM OTA and run that over the 4.7 BBM. Once you have done that reboot your phone and you will on BBM 5.
I wonder if the iphone users will ever accept this phone as being better or at least equal?????
Here is the OTA:

After my restore it shows that Facebook is installed in the application list but it is nowhere to be found on my phone. Has anyone else seen this and what is the fix for it?
