ok well open up control panel/add-remove/and there is no rim internal tools

Beejive doesn't appear to be working... beta 1.9.5... =(

Error received is Uncaught Exception: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError

well I haven't had the pleasure yet but it has the new 5.0 look,new media player,tab browsing..

it doesn't have BBM so that needs to be added after install

There a few things that I have noticed:

1. Tabbed browsing
2. OS is much faster
3. The radio provides a much stronger signal than I normally get
4. New Media Player
5. New version of BB Maps (IMO still sucks)
6. No lag at all when typing.

So it is available and it is working then? Can I download it off BBOS server?

hey jlevy why can't i find this rim tools thing????????? should i just say forget it and install it on my phone??

I have read all the posts and not sure where to get it now and if I need that password.

as long as you dont shrink it , this OS is great ,

i went from 49 memory to 40

but that is because i couldnt delete the sample pics and all that crap

Sorry we had to take this off our servers. Those responsible for this leak should not have done so and therefore we as site do not want to be implicated in any legal action RIM may take. It is still available through megaupload but I would suggest getting to it quick as RIM are pulling those down.

That is fine I completely understand my question is can we (or any end user) get in trouble for having this on device?

Here is what you do,

Open a Windows Explorer Window
Go to Local Disk C
Go to Program Files
Go To Common Files
Go to RIMInternalTools-5.0.0.140


Move this or delete this folder.

This will remove all tracking devices from the install.

ok well i'm gonna load it anyway i have nothing on my computer that says rim tools or blackberry tools

I found the RIM tools in my control panel, add/remove software once I installed the OS to my PC. Is it not there?

At worst Jnepsa when you take it in for service or exchange they can say you voided the warranty for putting this software on the device, as it has not been approved.
