Thanks bbcrackman. I did what I was suggested. Now the my blackberry is very slow compared prior to fixing the keyboard and the color. I have already performed the battery pull. No success. Please advise.

The file you replaced is actually the core part of the systen, the file is a slower version of the OS. If you like the speed and responiveness. I would reccommend going back. The reason I chose the file I did was because I wanted the speed and stability. The one that is replaced to get the color banding issue corrected is less stable and can cause reboots as well as the dreaded VSOD not to mention it is slower. Just a suggestion....Quote:

OK. Now I have reprogrammed my Storm the way you suggested and it is much faster. I have a bigger issue now. I have noticed that my contacts are now replaced with my groupwise address book (only email addresses) and I cannot find phone numbers of my contacts the way I saved them. Please help.Quote:
