Thread: OOAKDPC'S v7 is up!! 151/4.7.1.40/5.0.0.130 [9000] !!!!

Almost everything is working great right now. OOAK's hybrids tend to have the least amount of clocking for me overall, and this is no exception.

Booted at 50mb with my usual apps (Aces Solitaire; Aerize Alerts; Aerize Optimizer; BBFileScout; BBOSLauncher; Google Maps; QuickPull Pro; Pandora; PhoneTweak; QuickLaunch; StormLevel; Swoosh Sudoku; UberTwitter; Viigo).

.151 transitions work great.

Typing is super-fast and super-smoove in landscape and portrait.

Browser = lightning (no, I do not mean Bolt browser, either; come on, FennecFox--developeramus!! releaseicus!!).

I still seem to be having problems receiving MMS. Anyone else? Might this be a .151 issue? Any thoughts on a fix?

Also, the Reset Phone feature in QL does not want to work ("uncaught exception: java.lang.illegal/argument exceptopn; this looks much like the reset errors I had with MB and .151/recent hybrids). Anyone else? Might this be a .151 issue? Any thoughts on a fix?

All in all, this looks like a winner!!

I have a question...

With This OS getting all these other files (ie Bold, Tour), are third party software programs going to be confused?

I have 2 Navigation programs that both stopped working and I am just wondering if they simply don't recognize a "Bold" or "Tour" file that is on a Storm.

Is my thinking in error...does anyone know?

I've installed several different hybrids (including this one) and so far haven't had any issues with apps.

cn we do any modification for bold?

Where do I find the fixed file once you upload it so I can give it a whirl?

having issues installing my storms acting stupid but my dm wont find hybrid how do i do this please help

This is the best hybrid. Better then another hybrid i tried. He worked late into the night on this one. Hasnt really slept. Im in shock on how its running and i have bbm 5.0im still needing 6 more bbm friends. You get a free download of meterberry for being a friend

You know I've always installed the newly released hybrids and straight firmware and I'm noticing less and less differences between each one... maybe I'm not as hardcore as you folks or I just don't notice or use the things you all notice/use... With that being said, I just got 7.05 installed just to check it out...

Did you install base OS? Also did you remember to delete vendor.xml file? Crogram files/common files/research in motion/app loader/ scroll to the bottom for vendor.xml and delete it...then try running app loader again.

I'll be honest, first time I installed this hybrid, I figured it had all the files and did not bother installing a fresh base. After finding out I couldn't update the phone, I installed the .151 base and then the hybrid... though for some reason or another my BES won't automatically activate anymore...
