    Blackberry Messenger 5.0 in a hybrid?

    Are there an opportunity to integrate version 5.0 of Blakberry messenger in a hybrid version ?

    does BBM 5.0 require BIS/BES..??
    i don't have either... so wondering if BBM 5.0 will work on mine...

    i dropped the COD files in the java folder when installing a curve 4.5 /4.6/5.0 hybrid loaded it on the phone and boom sure enough bbm 5.0 was right there working perfect so i would have to assume its possible

    about to give it a try with one of the hybrids here on my gfs storm will report back shortly

    and bbm requires internet so bis or bes would be ideal idk if the internet work aroudn works or not

    worked when installing the OOAKPC's newest hybrid... just added the cod files to the java folder and the alx 9530 folder (dunno if that was neccesary but i did it anyways) let the new hybrids flow

    Yes BIS/BES is required as BBM uses data rather than SMS like some messaging applications.
