Anyone experience slow performance coupled with the slow accelerometer? For instance, I have about 50+mb in app memory and have the standard processes running, but when I choose to open my email icon, there is like a 3-5 second delay?
The good news is that the .151 radio plays very nice with my phone, probably the best one I've tried
I've been running the 7.1.4 hybrid for about 2 weeks and this is basically what I've encountered. Also as mentioned before in this thread, transition from portrait to landscape you can see a little glitch with the display, and the same goes if you flick your finger rapidly up and down the screen and the icons become a little distorted, I don't know if that has been present in other builds.
Furthermore, the MMS issue I unfortunately have, as I can send pictures, but when audio is involved, the recipient gets nothing in the message.
I have nothing but praise to bbcrackman for this hybrid, as this is indeed an improvement over the straight .151 build. These problems I've mentioned are in no means a deal breaker, I would just like to give the BBOS community my thoughts on this matter.

As always Berry, thanks for your time for putting your thoughts down. It will help make the next hybrid even better.

Good afternoon everyone. I've kind of been laying in weeds for the past few days and keeping up to date by reading the posts in BBOS. I have to comment that this Hybrid of BBC's almost leaves me at a loss for words. (For those who know me that is hard to do.) V7.1.4-151 is without a doubt the best of the best. I have been using it now for 10 days with no issues whatsoever. I let it settle in for 72 hours and did a reboot (battery pull) last Wednesday and have only lost 0.1MB of memory since then. This is not a typo 0.1MB Wow. Normally I would do a pull every day 24 -36 hours to boost the memory. I use my storm extensively both for work and play. It is never off. The battery holds up extremely well. For instance I played golf today using Inteligolf with GPS and only consumed 30% of the battery. Used to do well to get 18 holes with previous builds. The camera is actually usable now and color renditions are great. I saw a couple of members say they were waiting to see what the results would be after a couple of weeks before that made the move and I say to them; "Get it now!!" You will enjoy your Storm as it was meant to be.:hail::hail:
Anyway, thank you BBC and all of the moderators and help team. If there's something better coming I can't imagine what it is. Maybe cheese on the nachos??? :haha:

First off as usual a huge Thank you to BBCrackman for this latest hybrid. I have enjoyed the great performance mentioned by so many others.
I have noticed one thing however and wanted to see if anyone else has had this happen. When using Pandora (previous version and latest) the connection is lost after about an hour maybe an hour an half. I don't remember the exact wording but even if you shut it down and open it again the same exception is shown. The following day it is fine but then again meterberry does a reset every morning which I'd assume is curing the problem.
Any thoughts or ideas? thanks in advance

Another member has a similar problem that has yet to be resolved. I know Pandora just recently came out with an update. If you haven't already updated, I would suggest trying the updated version.

I also have the MMS issue also. I can send the audio file, but the person on the other end gets a message that there was an error in playing the message.
All seems very well with this hybrid. I have a starting memory of about 41 and after 12 hours it is down to 35. Now, this hybrid has only been on my phone for about 30 hours. I have seen none, or very little of the spinning clock.
Thank you to all you developers who have made me come back to the Storm. I sent my Tour back today, and re-activated my Storm. Now I'll have my upgrade available when the new Storm comes out. Who knows, maybe I won't want to upgrade.
