I have went through the post here trying to see if anyone had a problem close to mine so I could fix it but didnt really see any so. When I get a MMS it says Could not retrieve message content. Try again later. Try and try to retrieve it but it doesnt. Turn phone off and back on it will get it. Try to respond and it wont send it. Its not a real big deal just kinda annoying. Sorry if this has allready been posted I just skimmed through the 12 pages...LOL

I believe it was found you could swap the mms.cod file from .148 and cure the problem.

    No it does not

You could certainly throw this on your phone then download BBM 5.0 OTA from the following link

No it doest --- but I would do this....

Get BBM 5.0.8 and install to you Storm
Then back up 3rd party apps
Now everytime you wipe your phone to install a new OS or hybrid the BBM 5.0.8 will always be there in DM to reinstall! Piece of cake! :haha:

This is because BBM 5 is not a 3rd party app. Though it hasn't been officially released it is still a RIM product and therefore not 3rd Party.

What you could do is go to Read System in BBSAK, and save the specific COD files and just reload them through BBSAK with Install COD option.

You can get a list of all modules and save the COD with BBSAK...

Ok so I asked this before in the V7 version thread but I don't think it got answered, but it still happens. It really is no big deal but I'm wondering if anyone else noticed this-when I lock my phone and I take it out to look at the time or whatnot, a little box with "123" appears in the upper right corner, normally I wouldn't care but since I got a new theme (3G Storm-which is pretty boss btw) -that box covers my time what is this box? and is there any way to get rid of it? Thanks in advance

BBM 5.0.8 is considered a 3rd party app when backing up 3rd party apps the long way using Desktop Manager using the Device Switch part of the program -- - it temp saves the .alx files to the PC --- at that point you have to move the .alx folder to a diff place on your PC --- You are right about the BBSAK -- it does not back up BBM
