I've tried maxmem and it didnt' seem to make any change. I'll try the administrator thing, even though I use it on my own computer I still have to do the right click?
I'll def. mess around w/ it someone more. It keeps my urge for a new OS down to a minimum as long as i can keep messing w/ the phone lol

Yep still need right click and run as admin. Also sounds like you need to go subscribe to my thread O.H.D. ( obsessive Hybrid disorder) :lmao:Originally Posted by quiet1
So I ran MaxMem and Shrink-A-OS... MaxMem took care of the sample pictures and other sample media just fine. Shrink-A-OS took care of everything else (can't run it as Administrator at my office computer, but it uses Windows XP, not Vista, so it Shrink-A-OS seems to work just fine.)
I currently have these apps loaded:
- BBampd Today Green
- Slacker Radio
- MeterBerry
- QuickLaunch
- BBM 5.0
- BerryWeather (running in Background)
- Vlingo
- Bluff My Call
- Beyond160
- CopyAll
- Facebook (I am entirely aware that this will be a big memory leaker, but SocialScope has yet to send me their Beta!!!! :damnit1
I am also using BBampd Today Green as my theme as opposed to the Precision Zen default theme. That being said, I started at 51.9MB (though it has dropped 1.2MB to 50.7mb in the last hour, I am also in the middle of caching 8 of my slacker stations, so I am expecting it to drop a bit more). Even so, it is running fast and I have a lot of free memory. The fact that I'm starting up at 51.9MB makes me happy, and the fact that it is pretty stable despite the use of Facebook and Slacker is great.
The combination of MaxMem + Shrink-A-OS clears up a great deal of space (plus removing Voice Activated Dialing since I use Vlingo which takes up WAYYYY less space).
Apps: AddOnis, CopyAll, QuickLaunch, Slacker Radio, BeeTagg, SmrtGuard, GoogleSync

Glad we have another happy customer! :fing02: A couple of notes.... When you cache slacker, it goes to your mem card not app mem. Watch your card mem when you cache it and you will see what I mean. Also.... Nates theme are famous for virtually no leakage! He prides himself on that, and won't put one out that eats away that valuable memory!
Well, I just did a new pull since adding a bunch of programs -- we'll see how my memory works now...

- and Facebook (I'm aware of the mass memory leak this is bound to cause, but I tend to use it on a fairly regular basis and SocialScope still hasn't sent me my invite!! :damnit1
Just added:
- BerryBuzz trial
- BerryPopup trial
- BerryAddon
- Poynt
- UberTwitter Beta4
- YouMail Visual Voicemail
Let's see how my Storm reacts to these changes... I imagine that some of these will be removed shortly, all of the apps I just added with the exception of YouMail! are fair game to be removed.

just curious but why is logmaid a memory hog?
