Do the .148 files slow the phone down or something? And what curtcrack88 said, I'm interested to know if that's possible too.

I uploaded 151 to my storm and bricked my device... has anyone else had problems?
Wirelessly posted (storm 9530)
Did you add your third party apps back in on the install or are you just doing .151 all by itself.Quote:

I loaded the .151 on my Storm and everything seemed to work fine for a day and then I could no longer send or receive MMS messages on my phone. According to Blackberry's website, the cause was most likely a corrupted service book. So I wiped and reloaded my phone with .151 again on Saturday and everything worked fine after the process was complete. Then again yesterday I started having the same issue with the MMS messages. I wiped and reloaded my phone with Crackman's last hybrid using the .148 base and everything is working fine again. I like the .151 load, but can't seem to figure out why the MMS would work initially only to stop working after less than 24 hours after loading. Any ideas from our wonderful group here?
