True, I agree with you besides one thing You don't have to reload the whole OS, once you run shrink to add what you want back, then select it in the list (unless it's OS component, then yes )

ahh true true.. ya got me..its early am here. BTW for anyone wondering since this is .151 and hybrids I am running the V6(as was best for me) with .151 radio and loving it so far

And yes, I agree with you about .151!!! It's the best to date and hybrids just make it that much better

I am really looking forward to 5.0, as the storm already has made so much significant progress

I have a question I went ahead and loaded 7.1.3 over the new base .151 and was wondering where I can go to look to make sure I indeed got the hybrid files included correctly. I did the radio swap as well. I confirmed that my platform is .186. So I just need to check for the 7.1.3 files, THANKS!

That is right but what I am looking for is the additional 7.1.3 files. There is a way to check for them I just don't remember where it is.

options>advanced>applications>highlight core os>bb key> veiw modules. You can also veiw them with Crack Util

I installed 7.1.3 yesterday over .151, did the radio swap and all...confirmed it is .151 and .186 so im good there, however I was wondering why when I check the modules i see quite a few .148 files in there....normal?

Yes that is normal. V7.1.3 was created before we had .151 for the 9530. So its a combo of .148/ .151(9500) and 5.0.0.100 (bold).

If you want to remove the .148 files you could load a straight .151(9530) and add lyr's 5.0 files.

I'm running straight .151 and more than happy just as quick if not faster then V7.1.3. I'm staying put until bbcrackman produces something new

I really dont notice any difference in the operation of my phone with the .148 files on there just makin sure i didnt do something wrong...i like the hybrid on top it gives more memory stability...i have been running it for almost 24hrs..it booted at 50mbs and its now at 47

I did the same thing and have the same results I boot at 48.5 and its stable at 46-46.5, I might go back to the straight .151........

Using the updated version of shrink...couldnt you just hit add all 5.0 files?? using a bbc hybrid..because that is something I did do..however it was scrolling with those green bars for quite sometime and i clicked on something else and stopped it so im not sure if it finished doing what it was supposed to do.
