What is color banding???

everyone talks about it, and i think everyone, at least myself is confused as shit, i got this .151 business goin on and everything looks the same.

can someone please define COLOR BANDING.. or is it just a pile of bull?

True....but if you use same image to compare .148 vs .151, you will see a difference :p

i have... no differences noticed... since only the radio files differ... all other files remain same (.151/5.0.100)... :D

True...but the sfi is what controls color :p

!00% correct Olta. The SFI control color. While I still see a slight color banding with 151 it is markedly improved over 148.

i guess the leaked .151 for 9500 isn't as good as the 9530 version in many ways... :)
i'm hoping for a 9500 os leak soon... :D

Gabriel, the big place you will notice color banding is on the Blue button higlights. The banding is very bad on those. When there is no banding present, they look 10000x better.
