What is different about thwa hybrid from crackmans!

not sure what the latest crackman is as I've not been on here oR CB too much lately (been on the xbox360 :P)
but this is full .151 (Java + Radio) with 74 5.0 files

I have been using your Hybrid OS for about 14 hours now and its the BEST OS EVER for the 9530!

One thing I notice most is the speed of everything after being holstered or locked. I just posted this from Blackberry too!

Excellent! Glad to hear it's working well
I'm enjoying it very much myself, I've only lost 1mb all day and I've used my Browser non-stop (BBOS and CB), bluetooth and media player
I'm hoping we can see this 5.0.0.92 leak for the 9500, I want to try some files from it - but sounds like it won't be leaked

As much as I am in love with this hybrid, I am running into the same problem/situation with Viigo.

How much of this OS is already pre-shrunk?

I am shrinking before installing on my Storm. Maybe I shouldn't be doing that?

Every other application works fine but I can't get Viigo to install. Even after performing clean wipe.

Lyricidal-Could you look into this for me? Can you see if Viigo will install on your device? I would really appreciate it.

Platform/OS once installed: Platform .186 and OS version .151, but 5.0 is definitely there.
To check this: Go to Options > Advanced > Applications > BB Button > Modules. Scroll through and you should see files with 5.0.0.100 beside them.
(If you get just the Java, it will show .151 with whatever platform you are installing it over. This is why some are getting .151 with a different platform than 186 on your phone)

Latest file additions and changes:
July 9th @ 9:00 PM
- Full .151 (radio and Java)
- 74 5.0.0.100 (more to come in next versions - added what I felt were safest/stablest)
- Added 5.0FilesUsed folder with the above 74 files
- Shrink-A-OS updated (see Shrink-A-OS.txt for those updates)
- BetaME app to log Radio, Memory, and Battery included
- Removed Swap-A-Radio, Shrink-A-OS now does this

I think your issue is viigo as I have seen reports that it doesn't play nice with .151 files.

Just installed Viigo without issues, I would try shrinking after the installation though just to be safe

You'll have to use the .151 radio with any full .151 Java or it won't work

well... its working for me...
beta6 with .148 radio on my 9500..!!!

all i needed to do was to replace net_rim_plazmic_mediaengine_pme12.cod with .148 one...
hope this works for others too...
btw... i'm willing to try out your latest beta (if you have any after beta6)

my findings according to meterberry so far are:

Just loaded this on and going through the rebooting routine.

Gordtm, I am convinced that you will love your phone cruising this hybrid!!! In 40+ hours, I was only down by 7mb!!! That's a record for my storm! :arms: Plus all the other benefits of it

Loaded up at 48.5mg with all my apps. A little higher than the straight 151.
So far so good. The browser is definitely much faster.

I was starting to get random reboots with the straight 151. I would have had to do a wipe of my data and reconfigure everything, so I figured if I had to do all that, I might as as well try this hybrid.

That sucks...but then you got the wonderful world of hybrids

Conditions seem to have deteriorated over time... for me...
