I noticed it well when I am on a call and hover over the "speaker", "mute", etc...the blue shadow did not transition gradually but had bands...I have an example on my photobucket..but dont have access to it at work...but I will post it for ya.

Doesn't seem like a huge issue to me. I honestly never noticed it and don't seem to have it now anyways on 151.

It was a theme makers disaster. I did not notice but it wasn't a deal breaker. Good to see it fixed though.

This is GREAT! I booted up at 51.0 and haven't dropped below 50.5 all day.

How are you guys getting such high memory? Do you have nothing loaded on your Storm? I boot at 30mb and run mid-20s and sometimes down into the mid-teens. I have Viigo but only open it to use it then close it out and always clear the cache. I always clear my event log, calls made list, missed calls, etc and try to keep saved emails to a minimum. Aside from Talk Lock, LogMaid and Facebook (and oh Google Sync) I don't believe anything else runs continuously. I did have about 5mb more on avg under the default theme but loaded BBAmped Today Blue and added the Red background image but I still cannot fathom how you guys get that high with available memory. mfg:

With the new OS .151 memory seems to be VERY stable have not dropped below 43 and is usually holding around 47.5!

I am holding around 45.1. With the elle theme. I also have Simple weather, facebook, MSN Messenger, but I don't leave them running. i always close out and it seems to hold steady

I run 20+ programs on my Storm and have 10+ Web launchers and i boot up around 41-43. lowest i got yeterday was 35mb.

Most of the reason my memory runs so high is because i shrink all OS's before i load them using this Shrink-A-OS by lyricidal. (link: BlackBerry Apps/Hybrids by lyricidal) As Lyricidal explains on his site that Shrink-A-OS Shrinks your OS install down by getting rid of things you do not use.

Most get their memory that high by using that programs to take out all the apps and features they dont use.

Wow, just woke up with 46mb. This is amazing. 151 rocks fo sho!

Ok, now you uys are bragging [ or so it seems ]. I do shrink each OS before installing them but I'll read all of those links to see if there is maybe something I am missing (and boy do I hope so because I would love to reclaim 10-15mb). Thanks for the advice.

Great write up Perfect Storm. I've been running BBC's V7.1 with 9530 .151 radio and all I can say is AMAZING. Only downside I have noticed with the .151 radio is switching orientation with the keyboard up causes some pixelization. Very impressive radio file, definitely the best yet especially with color banding gone.

So far 151 has been flawless since i knocked the battery out on accident last night "Extended Battery" restarted with 50.0 at 10:15 pm now at 1:46 sitting on 44.8. system is very responsive fast radio no problems life is good. Camera is fast also got the green box.:1244:
