Did you make sure to remove the vendor.xml file?

ok where do I do thaat. When I go to common files I see the hybrid app loader still. I have deleted it twice now

I see because you are not in the right place. First off to make sure you have the vendor file go to this location on your PC
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader

The vendor.xml file will usually be at the bottom on the right hand side. Delete it, the go to the icon that looks like a phone and double click. Then it should be smooth sailing from there.

I must be the lucky one but I still see the spinning clock, but not a big deal, it does seem to be less than any other OS. I also noted that the volume problem with video playback through the speaker phone is fixed.

A day late and $ short...the story of my life

ooh boy now I get a fatal error when trying to update from the dm. I may have to start over but that sdefiantely tomorrow

so the question i have for everyone is does it work with themes yet or is it still a no go

Its a no go unless the theme is .151 compatible. The theme maker should be able to adjust it for you.

I would use apploader instead of DM. Whenever you are ready let us know and we'll walk you thought step by step.

Miami, make sure you uninstall all BlackBerry Device Software from add/remove programs. Then go into c: program files>common files>research in motion> shared> loader files and delete anything that's in that folder. Empty the recycle bin. Restart pc. Download and install .151 to pc. Delete vendor.xml file in c: program files>common files>research in motion> app loader scroll to the bottom. Back everything up (including 3rd party apps) and proceed with loading OS onto phone. Keep us posted

oh, the good old vendor file in the recycle bin, gets me like every 5 loads. :17:

Themes that I had working with the hybrid BBC V7.1.3 still work though they had been updated to work with .151, hope that helps.

Alot of updates for compatability with .151 have been going on so it appears that a work around has been found by many of the developers so if you have a specific theme you want to use you might want to check with the builder regarding an update.

Themes I have that work with .151 are VistaComplete by KD, : elle : by Auggie, and StormKick by Kd

man now I think I am going backwords it shows the files created 04/28/2009. Even though I see the .151 folder

Ok I uninstalled then rbr'd then re-downloaded .151 installed then rbr's but now I am having issues with the DM. Phone is finishing up and i'll see what Os this was. I hope .151 if not then its off to re do all of my stuff tomorrow while I am at work

It appears as that's where I am supposed to be. I see transitions though. I thought the Hybrid had those

You know whats different with this OS load, I did not have to re place items in my folders. Anyone else notice this?

BTW, if you want to double check to make sure you got the correct version, go to options, advanced options, applications, bb key, modules and scroll down...if you installed straight .151, you should see all .151 modules
