    Smile Best yet...

I have also been running this OS for about 24 hours...no leak at all (first time!!) and everything is running great. I have always loved this phone...but it just keeps getting better!!!

I wonder if BBC will take another shot using this one?!!?!!.........

I loaded the .151 on my Storm and everything seemed to work fine for a day and then I could no longer send or receive MMS messages on my phone. According to Blackberry's website, the cause was most likely a corrupted service book. So I wiped and reloaded my phone with .151 again on Saturday and everything worked fine after the process was complete. Then again yesterday I started having the same issue with the MMS messages. I wiped and reloaded my phone with Crackman's last hybrid using the .148 base and everything is working fine again. I like the .151 load, but can't seem to figure out why the MMS would work initially only to stop working after less than 24 hours after loading. Any ideas from our wonderful group here?

    Hello Tech....
So, I've loaded my device today from .148 to .151 no sweat. I am running the straight OS. I tested my SMS an MMS out on some co-workers devices to give me a base. I'll do more testing tomorrow and let you know how it goes. My original test have been 100% flawless. Hopefully we'll get this corrected for you.
    Regards, Michael

Very pleased with .151 to this point.....no need to even try one of the current or forthcoming hybrids....for now anyway..

I decided rather than going bare bones I would load my Storm up with any apps that I would regularly use....ended up with much more than I've ever had before...

Booting up with 41 - 42 mb....also now doing a daily batt pull, which I previously did not want to do....Even with the loaded down number of apps I'm able to maintain mid-30's pretty much all day....dips into high 20's for a short period, but then goes back up....no lag at all and consistently very responsive....

I am continuing to experiment with leaving Bluetooth on all day (just in standby mode though).....this really seems to simulate "use" and I think is helping keep my memory numbers up.....

I agree C6 151 has been amazing in terms of memory. I am +2.1mb from when I started up. The one thing I don't like about 151 (which I can live with) is the accelerometer is a little slow.

Thanks a million for the links !! Is there a reason why this wasn't put on the BBOS server - I've always found that server the fastest and most reliable.

Nothing big - 20 minutes or so and I'll be rockin like the Penguins and Steelers - oops - sorry - off topic !!

Thanks Josh - It's already loaded - I'm about to wipe and go off line for awhile to test this thing out - lots of positive feedback over the last few days - so I'm pretty optimistic !! I guess it always came from brettwyman in the past but as this site gets better and better - the berryos makes sense to me now. Thanks again

    Jeff

I haven't had an issue with the accelerometer....everything smooth as silk so far...

still don't like the fact that Meterberry does not work right....no reset on demand or scheduled reset....

That's strange MB resets for me without any issue. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Or perhaps changing compatibility mode.

I love the leak... I'm just having troubles sending any sounds through MMS. HERE is a link to my post about the problem. It works fine on .75 and .148, but fails when I update to .151.

Just out of curiosity, did you do anything different between 148 and 151 like shrink your OS or something along those lines?
