Gabriel's .148/.151/5.0.100 Hybrid for 9500 (with .151 radio) Findings and Fixes

ok extremely impressed by this so far.. I loaded this about 3 hours ago and on boot up free app mem was 55.6MB.. and now its still sitting at 55.6mb! Its quick and snappy with no issues..

job well done with this one!

ok guys 8 1/2 hours into this and my app memory has never left the 50's in MB.. look at my attachment.. best memory of anything I have tried yet!

are you sure you're using 1.3..?? cause chuckbert says that the bug has been fixed... :)
can you please provide details of your problem??

i'm running the same hybrid ...
but i'm sorry i couldn't simulate the problem on my 9500...
anyone else having the same problem...?? is this 9530 specific problem..??

i did not notice something like that!

i found that my stormstat shows vers: 4.7.0.148... on Gabriel´s pic the 4.7.0.151 is shown?!?
i installed the .151 beta and then applied the file from Gabriel...
but that is no prob for me, cause the hybrid is still the best i´ve ever used!!!
blazing fast, good signal strength and even the keyboard popping up is fixed!
this will definitely be my favorite hybrid for a very long time :beerchug:

I just installed the updated version from your post. I'm a 9530 running it with the .90 radio, shrunk. Booted up with 45.7 with all my apps loaded which include:Berry wars, BerryBuzz, Elle theme, Garmin Mobile, Google maps, Google talk,meterberry, Opera Mini, PatternLock, Peekawho, QuickLaunch, Slacker, Stoptilt, Fierce Towers, Visual Voice mail, Wallpaper Changer, BerryWeather, Word Shuffle, Word Search, and Wrath, which is higher than any other hybrid so far. OOAK's v5.9 was very close with 44.1. I did notice that the other hybrids all say .151 and like chuckbert says mine shows .148

Seems like the only Transition i'm seeing is the fade in and out. I don't see the other one where it sucks it into the middle of the screen, usually the first thing i notice when installing a .151 hybrid cause its exclusive. I'll edit my findings after work today with findings from through out the day.
