I installed v7.1 sat night, has been working wonderfully for me...very fast, and stable...i have a question, i plugged my phone to my dm and a 4.7 core update popped up...i canceled it cuz i wasnt sure if it was going to cause any problems...will installing this cause problems??

    thanks for all the help
Yes, it will try and revert the os to straight 148. The best way to stop this from popping up continually is to go to C:/Program Files/Common Files/Research In Motion/Shared/Loader Files and rename the OS that you installed the Hybrid into. Rt click and rename then just add an "A" at the end of the file name. example 9530-v4.7.0.148_p4.0.0.181A. This will prevent the system from trying to overwrite the data.

Should I shrink A OS before or after installing Hybrid V7.1?

BB suggests not shrinking. If you plan to shrink though, do it after installing v7.1 to PC. (install to PC, run hybrid installer, then shrink)
