WOW! BBcrackman, you are getting really good at this. Where did you learn how to edit phone OS' like this?

Sorry for the newb question - but what is the difference between 7.1 update2 and 7.1.3? Is 7.1.3 the most recent?

I just want to make sure I install the right one (or do i need both?)...

Valid question. Its a minor change to the keyboard/suretype files.


Some where having issues with the auto correction or mistyping. V7.1.3 is the latest and is the fix for above mentioned issue

If your rocking V7.1.2 and your happy there is no need to change

I am still on v7, and was happy until recently. It has randomly reset about 2-3 times lately, and the latest time it was just sitting in my lap, idle. I noticed the white screen come up, and realized that it had rebooted. The battery was getting low at the time - not sure if that had anything to do with it.

I also tried to use the video camera today, and when I went to play it back, the video was an unsupported file format. Very odd...

I will try loading the latest up when I get some spare time.

They are same aside from 7.1.3 fixes the sure type issue some were having...

SOme poeple were having issues with sure type on 7.1.2 so BBC changed some files around in order to make sure type work better. Besides that nothing else changed.

Its under options>about. Radio is your platform #.

Thank you, I thought I was running .132 but no it is .181. I thank I shall download v7.1.3 and do a fresh install of all just to be sure I am running correctly. I see a few clocks since upgrading without clean install.

.181 platform is the radio from .148. I would suggest .132. I tried that before and it did reduce the spinning clock. .151 radio seems to be pretty decent, althought too early to tell yet.

Can I change the radio to .90 in this hidrid? I do this question because OS .151 doesn't work

Yep you sure can just be warned of the normal .90 issues (random reboots and VSOD's)

VSOD = Verizon Screen of Death where the phone boots to the Verzion logo but does not go any further.

Anytime and I feel bad that is seems .90 is the only one that works well for you GSMers. .90 is great when it works but drives you nuts when it doesn't. What other radio's have you tried?

Any rumors around an eta for v8 for the OS 4.7.0.151?
