Mkay... installing now. Thank you again!
quick question, this is different from the v7 i installed last night right? Cause I'm not a VIP member as you guys could probably tell.
The second step is more crucial then the first, you don't have to uninstall the OS if its already .148. Just delete the folder and re-install and it will replace the deleted copy with a fresh copy of .148. It'll save you a couple minutes of your time.:cool2:Quote:

Will do but with all the excellent teachers in here<knock on wood> I'm starting to get it... I think!
Keeping in mind I did not install any 3rd party apps or themes with install this seemed to go very quickly, too quickly...
Hey crackman! This one still not playin' well with themes? Thanks man.:You_Rock_Emoticon: I haven't had time to get Gabe's off my phone.:chairshot:What perfect timing. Any body figure out what happened with that... Besides the mile long list i could make after 2 days with it.:cussing:
dang i thought I had this down, i guess practice makes perfect.
I ran into trouble again; I uninstalled .148, then reinstalled .148. And I also deleted what ever was in my shared folder in apploader. Now when I run the exe. file from the update, I go into C:/Program Files/Common Files/Research In Motion/Shared and I don't have a "Loader Files" folder, which prevents me from installing into the .148.
Any ideas where I went wrong?
Easy upgrade. I did not lose any 3rd party apps. Thanks a lot for all the hard work you put into this!!
