I usually do the 3 battery pulls after any OS change, and would recommend that as well for everyone

Okay back to this issue now. In the process of trying to swap a radio to .132 it gave me a fatal error and terminated the operation. Maybe that is what held me up in the beginning and kept causing the error on reboot? I have yet to try shrinking...

Try restarting your PC. Also, when you are running swap a radio, you need to be out of the OS folder (close it completely) and make sure to browse and select the main OS folder not the cdma folder in swap a radio.

I believe that you also need to running Swap A Radio as an administrator or you will get the error message as well!

I've had it loaded for 16 hours all well so far did the Shrink as well.

thank you so much. I did everything and all went great. Or so I thought. I lost my internet. I thought I just needed to send service books, but I can't find service book to send, if that makes any sense. Any suggestions? I get e-mail and everything, just no internet.......

On your phone go to
options>advanced>host routing table>click your bb button and then register now

See if that works for you

For the record there are a couple more of us that I know of with the same exact issue. We were in another thread and BBCrackman is checking into it right now. The thread is v7.1 findings and fixes.

Bryan we have tried all that, it's strange that more than one are all experiencing the same thing at the same time. Go to the other thread and read the posts on last page.

Mike the issue doesn't seem to affect everyone so I suggested that to see

I posted in the other thread but I will post in here as well. I found this searching tonight on another forum

there is a report that the servers are under maintenance until 0600.

this seems to be affecting certain people. But if resending your service books and re registering your host routing table do not work then I would suspect you are one of the affected.

As I said if you tried the service books and the host routing table and still no go then I would suspect that you are one of the affected my this server.

It sounds like you are one of the lucky ones to be affected by this server issue.

exactly! bad part is my husband has it on his Curve, but not the same and I am not sure I want to hear his gloating. LOL...........A my auto text has me soooo spoiled it is actually hard to use my computer sometimes. plus takes up way to much room in bed.
