Yep. I did that.

Is it true that some themes have problems with .151 code? I can't remember where I read that, but it sticks in my head. I tried V7 and couldn't get to all my apps. I had to revert back to V6 over .148.

Did you start with a fresh version of 148 without the hybrid?

Yeah. I uninstalled all OS software on my computer and wiped my BB. Then I installed the full version of .148 without any hybrids. After, I backed up the CDMA file from .148 and overwrote all files from the BBC zip. I then replaced the BBC CDMA file with the .148 CDMA file I backed up. Loaded up AppLoader and ran into the issue there.

So tell me what issue are your running into. Are you getting an error. Please explain the problem a little more. Thanks.

yes, many themes dont play nice with the .151 files

Once this is installed will it show as 5.0.100 or 4.7.0.151 in options/about? Thanks!

I havent tried it myself but It should read 4.7.0.151

I loaded it right over bbc v7 and everything worked fine.

I just copied all the files and folders in the zip file and pasted them in the 148 folder. (c:-->program files-->commom files-->RIM-->shared-->loader files--> 9530-v4.7.0.148_P4.0.0.181.) Then selected YES TO ALL

Has anyone else loaded this os yet? I don't see as many "Stupid" clocks. The browser seems to load pages quicker. I'm curious to see what everyone else finds. ;-)

I dunno. Once I get everything installed, I load up AppLoader and select all the programs I want installed. When I hit next it gives me an error with something like "E-Mail Setup Files cannot be loaded". Something of that sort. I can't remember the exact words.

No problem missy you have covered my butt on a number of occasions.

I keep getting a error from the loader "email setup application" can not be loaded because missing required file... anything?
