    Lightbulb Hybrid for 9500 [.148/.151/5.0.100] Beta 2 !! (using lyricidal's hybrid)

I love hybrids and eagerly wait for hybrid releases ...
today i noticed that the leaked 5.0.100 bold OS was available... since i was having problems with the .151 radio and wanted to upgrade... i combined 5.0.100 files with Lyridical's .148/.151/5.0 hybrid... making it a new hybrid...

So... 9500 users who want the goodness of .148/.151/5.0.100 (with .148 radio and .151 transitions) can now simply download the hybrid that i customized for 9500 ... using the link below:

Update: Jun 12, 2009 - updated to beta 2 with more 5.0.100 files...

    Hybrid for 9500 [.148/.151/5.0.100] Beta 2!!

Note: Shrink -A-OS has already been used to shrink the OS ...so if you need to get it all back... please use the Shrink-A-OS from the zip file and use "Put it back" option...

All you need to do is
    - unzip the files into your current OS folder (replace all files)...
    - use APPLOADER to load the OS to you 9500....

i have upgraded to the hybrid from .151... but you should be able to upgrade from most OS versions... IF you unzip the file to your current OS folder...

Hope this works for all the 9500 hybrid addicts too...
Let me know how things go for you.

    Enjoy!

Click the next to my post if you appreciate my hybrid!

    Thumbs down Feedback...

ok, thats what i noticed so far:

i lost about 10 MB of ram just by installing this hybrid!!! im down to 26 from 35 with "standard" .151...:disappointed: (even after a pull!)
the .148 radio does not work that good for me... in places where i had quite good reception im now left with the sos-sign...:disappointed:

though the os feels really snappy these things lead me to a decision:
im going back to the "Original" .151!

    sorry

    regards

    chuckbert

    p.s.

im always willing to try another one, keep up the good work!
