Thread: Hybrid for 9500 [.148/.151/5.0.100]!! (using lyricidal's hybrid)

hi there!

ok, after using this hybrid for about 24 hours, here´s my conclusion:

the pure os is quite snappy, stable and fast! damn good work, gabriel!:You_Rock_Emoticon:

but my problems with the .148 radio still exist :grumpy:
the signal strength is much weaker and the battery last not so long like it does with the .151 radio.
and my bluetooth keeps disconnecting from my car when a mail comes in...:damnit:

so there is one thing i would like to know:
is it possible to change the radio? can i put the .151 .sfi file in my cdma folder and do an update? will this work?
or if not: gabriel, can u do a hybrid with the .151 radio for me?:hail:

just noticed your updated bbcrackman v7 hybrid... is this one using the .151 radio?
then i´m willing to give this one a try... *G*

Yes, you can replace the radio file with .151 radio file.
Just copy+paste .151 radio file to the hybrid's CDMA folder...

and... No... the other updated hybrid also uses .148 radio...
but... if you want to use that... you can use the same procedure and replace the radio file with .151 radio file...

in both cases, it should work fine.
Please let us know your findings...

i did how gabriel told me and installed the .151 radio on my german storm... what can i say: way better than .148! at least for me...
signal strength is much better, battery life is enhanced (still 90% after 5 hours use)!
i´ll keep it that way... if there are no probs coming up!
i´ll keep u all informed if u want!?!

Statistically speaking... though this hybrid is significantly better than my previous one... i didn't get as much reputations for this...
