Thread: V7 with .132 Radio Code Findings

ok so .148 with v7 wasn't working well for me at all after about 2 and a half days. so i decided to run with .132/v7 and it runs fairly amazing. i would give it a try if you had some time...just a recommendation.

PS keep in mind i've only been on it for about 10 min

so far it's holding solid at the highest memory level i've ever had 49.1MB...response is nice...much less clock.....

I have been running .132 on v7 for awhile now because I too was plagued by the spinning clock with .148... It is a very solid build. But as we all know, storms are like snow flakes...

I have been using v7 with 132 ever since v7 was released and IMO it works much better for me than with 148. For my phone 132 has been superior in all aspects when compared to 148

ok here's an update...i've downloaded and played with all my usual applications(audio stream of mlb.com, appworld, tetherberry, visual vmail and vznav, and iheartradio) so far so good...memory dropped to 47.9mb.....i'm goin out now so i'll be back later and let everyone know how everything went(with my blackberry not my adventure =P ) but only if im sober enough to post

My bet, it will not. The Radio Code is not whats causing it. It is the .151 Java files that are causing the theme related issues.

Use Swap-A Radio for this purpose?....No issues?

Okay, here's a stupid ?... the .148 isn't working well for me either. I DL'ed the .132, hooked it up with the v7 hybrid. All good. I try to use apploader and DM to downgrade. It won't do it. It just comes up with a list of apps,that's it - no OS. I wiped the phone,and still nothing. What am I missing?

2 things Spector5. First, you will probably need to wipe first for DM or loader to see your phone. Second, Were you putting the .132 radio code in the v7 after runnig the v7 installer? If you dont, itwhen the v7 installer runs, it will overwrite whatever is there with .148.

Sorry disregard my comments about wiping. If you did wipe your phone down to 507 error and DM or loader is still not seeing it, that usually means that there is something corrupt with the OS on your PC. You can unistall it with add/remove programs and try again.
