App loader not working

Thanks everyone for all the helpful info. I should have thought of it but Jlevy had the right idea. I wiped the phone first and everything worked perfect.

I had a similar issue when trying to install v7. The solution that worked for me was to install V7 into an empty folder and then drag the files into the correct folders (loader) and it loaded right up...This was after hours of frustration!! It was so worth it after I got v7 running.

Nice suggestion thanks for adding that.

well im struggling with this problem COM error during Open: (0x80040001) Error: unable to open port. i had this problem for at least 2 months and still can get the bb to work can anyone tell me something new or is it a hardware fault.
