Crackman v7 Hybrid Released to Everyone!!!!

***I am going to update this thread with more links***



This Hybrid performs better than all others previously released! It also has the 5.0.0.93 browser for you 5.0 fans! Download and enjoy!

Now, here is something a little different. Since we all have been loading OS's lately, I recommend wiping your device prior to install. This will ensure a clean install and that you receive all the benefits of v7.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: DO NOT, I MEAN DOOO NOOOT USE SHRINK-A-OS WHEN INSTALLING THIS HYBRID. DOING SO WILL RESULT IN A VERY BAD THINGS HAPPENING TO YOUR PHONE.

Blackberry Device Software:

4.7.0.148

Hybrid Software Options:

Hybrid v7



ALWAYS BACKUP



1. Download and install v4.7.0.148 as your base.

2. Download the Hybrid

3. Initialize the Hybrid exe file

4. When the program opens click “Next”

5. This screen tells you where the hybrid will install

6. If you click next you will get a window that tells you that the directory doesnt exist do you want to create one, the answer is NO

7. Click the button to the right of the file path, another window will open that contains a file tree

8. Use the file tree to navigate to C:/Program Files/Common Files/Research In Motion/Shared/Loader Files and highlight the installed OS (either .132 or .148) click "OK"

9. Click “Next”

10. Click “Start” this will begin the install process

11. Installation complete click “Next”


12. Click “Finish”



Now the Hybrid is installed on your PC.

To install to your device go to C:/Program Files/Common Files/Research In Motion/Apploader, you will see in this folder a file named Vendor.xml, delete this file by right clicking on the file and choose Delete.

Now in the same folder you will see another file named Loader.exe, looks like a phone, double click to initiate the loader program. Follow on screen instructions. Some of you may be upgrading from or downgrading to, make sure you choose the appropriate action in the loader screen.

Can I use th .90 Radio?

This is Too good to be true...I though we were going to have to wait till the weekend!!!

I have the BT Problems with .148 and also like th .90 Fonts and color depth.

hey i dont see a vendor.xml file only a vendor are these two the same. and also if i wanted to install the .90 radio file can i copy and paste it too the 148 file before i run the v7 hybrid

While I'm waiting for the download, I have a question.

Can Version 7 be installed over hybrid Version 6, or do I need to start with a clean 148?

So what happens when we shrink the OS? Just curious? How unstable is it when shrunk?

Johnny I used shrink on it and had no issues but other have. But I will be honest with you when I shrunk it I booted at 50, un shrunk I booted at 48. It seems if you use shrink it will either work or not for the first time.
