Thread: Crackman v7 Hybrid Released to Everyone!!!!

IF you HAVE already done this, then make sure the file xxxxxxxx.alx ("your PIN".alx) is in the same folder as all of your 3rd party apps (folder should also be labeled xxxxxxxx(your PIN))

If everything is done this way, the loader should automatically see these 3rd Part Apps & load them.

I know how to back them up! Thanks for the link though. Ive never had any issues until I went to this build which is the odd thing. Ill probably try going to another OS tomorrow and see if that works and go back and just upgrade it from there.

Did you get my last post about making sure the .alx file is in the same folder as the 3rd party apps? I've ran into that problem before too.

Yea Ive read them all and know Ive been doing it correctly. The thing that sucks as I stated before is that Ive used these same files for a previous new OS I installed. Its not like I resaved my 3rd party apps.

Yup its there. I thought it could have been the install so I wiped and reinstalled twice.

Johnny, restart your PC and reboot your phone and then try to restore again.

Also, on a side note...if you have previous back ups of 3rd party apps on your computer, and if you tried to back up today again, DM only backed the newer apps, but not all that you have on your phone. For future back ups, what you need to do is send the recent back ups to a .zip folder and delete the alx and pin folder (not the zipped one), and then start backing up. I hope this makes sense. Keep us posted.

Sort of in a middle of a download right now so cant restart the PC at the moment. I have backups of my recent 3rd party apps at work too so Ill just try it there tomorrow.

As for backups I usually always back them up before updates which I did in this case and still didnt work so I reverted back to an older one from the other day with no luck as well. I make sure that the computer I use only has the recent and all older ones deleted but I always make a backup of those as well on an extrenal drive. I havent tried the zip and never really ran into any issues so Ill try that method next time.

Yeah, forgot about this, but this has happened to me before too. Go to Start/Search on your PC & search for (your PIN), make sure to search hidden files/folders, and see if there is more than one folder with your 3rd party apps. This has happened to me, I had saved my 3rd party apps in a folder, then when I did this again, because I didn't delete the old one, it saved only the apps I had installed since the last save. Meaning that the new 3rd party apps folder, didn't contain all of the other apps which were previously saved, only the newer ones. Might help, might not. Just my .02

A lot of themes are not working with the .151 files in the hybrid right now. I lost a couple of good themes. We have a thread started with themes that are working and ones that aren't as well.

You can use Swap-A-Radio by Lyricidal....and run loader.exe...make sure to select downgrade, as you would be loading a radio lower than what you have now. Here is the link:

Many are reporting that they are having problems with certain themes, not all themes work with this build. Don't think there's much you can do about it, unless BBC comes up with a workaround. Don't worry v8's prob only about a week away, & themes only make the phone perform poorly anyway. Try it without the themes, I bet you'll like the phone much better

Has anyone used the .90 Radio with this hybrid?
