Guys I wonder if the following is possible. I am using a 9500 on Vodafone and my interest in CCMan V7 has made me wonder that if I use the 151 base Os, and overwite the java files with V7 and maintain the 151 radio could I derive the benefits of the new hybrid. I see no references to 9500 devices?
If you do this, don't just delete the Java files & just replace them with the v7 Java files. Copy the v7 files & paste them into the .151 Java folder, then click on "Yes to All" This way if there's any files in your Java folder that you need, you'll still have them, you only want to replace what's different ...& don't forget to delete Vendor.xml
hey ! im not really new into installing OS but since .141/v5 i been have issues with backing up my phone data, as it always give me an error half way through backing up.
i have no problems backing up my 3rd apps. tho, any help?
im using DM 4.5 & also tried 4.7
Clear you browser cache on phone and on DM....on phone, open browser, bb key, cache operations, clear cache....if that still fails....open DM, click on backup/restore, click advanced, select browser cache, click clear....then do you back up as you normally would.
Very, very nice job BBC! I'll post more after a day or so of usage. Performed the following with no problems...
wipe phone - JL_Cmder
reinstalled leaked 148
ran V7 download exe
delete vendor file
load 148.V7 included only necessary apps - no 3rd party
3 - 1 min batt pulls
restored data using desktop software
loaded following 3rd pty:
Apply berry custom i-blocks theme - works flawlessly
quick pull 2
yet another 1min batt pull
booted up around 50mb mem
AWESOME JOB BBOS! What a fine community we have here!!!
Check this pic taken with my storm - seriously! This is from a lobster dinner cruise just off the coast of Cozumel...
(update: well I'll have to find a place to host this or mail it to someone who can, sorry folks)
