I installed directly over v6 and encountered no problems, runs great actually fantastic, browser fast oh so very fast, app transition and opening and closing programs so cool its like a different phone actually everything seems to work great over the first 18 hrs or so no freezes no white screen

please make note it (151) is not very theme friendly, VistaComplete will not run properly, Appleberry glass runs well but does slow it down a little and really really uses up the memory(at least for me)
To get the full effect of this os I would recommend removing any themes you have and try it with just the zen for the first 12 hours or so then try reloading you're themes one at a time to see how the performances affects your storm. Just my suggestion.... Oh by the way diod I mention its like having a new phone... he he he :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

Meterberry will not do a on demand or scheduled reset of my device Otherwise MB logs and stats work....

C6 have you tired deleting and re installing MB?

Works solid so far. Boots high mem, and after about 2 hours now its held quite well. No major issues (initially). Browser is good, no issues with radio/sfi stability in combination with the used .cod's.

Will report future findings soon!

I cannot get past "Handheld Application Loader is not responding" I am so frustrated. I deleted the 148 file and reinstalled in. I did the JL Commander wipe. I deleted and added 4.7 desktop manager from scratch.... Help! I can't wait to get V7 on my phone

I down loaded V7 and I an very excited. I can install .148 with the loader or DM, however when I install V7 I get the following error on the loader (see attachments). If I use the DM I get a fatal error. This has happened on both DM versions of 4.7 and 5.0

Any thoughts?

I have done this several times before, but I feel like a :newbie: !!

Are you unplugging from the internet? Did you delete the vendor file?

Ok so you are doing the following steps

Deleting all previous OS's off your PC through add/remove programs
after that go to c>prog files>common files>research in motion>shard>loader and delete any left OS files in there folder
Download and install .148 to your PC
Download and install V7 to your PC and install over .148
Delete vendor file and launch loader.exe

When you do you get the error your are getting?

I tried both. Still says Handheld Application Loader has stopped working.

Can you post a clean link to .148?

In fact I did all of them including deleting all file (except 3rd party apps - could this be the problem?) 2 times. The error occurred when I ran the loader.exe

Yeah try not loading up any 3rd party apps and see where that gets you

So far so gravy! Fast all around. Will post findings (other then my alt ego findings ) as I hit 24hrs with it.

Thanks I will try and reload. I was getting good at this Hybrid stuff. Now I feel like a newbie.
