Thanks, I just tried this and the results with AIM are the same =( Not much of a difference in signal either (132=88-96dbm 141=90-98dbm)

I'm Really wanting to get these AIM issues resolved as I use it to for SMS also. The weird thing is it seems the screen press seems to only stop working with the SMS contacts I have set up... Even shows them all as offline sometimes =(..

I think i may try another clean wipe and reinstall all apps manually instead of from my backup.

    One other question:

what is the difference between the 4.7.0.148 file listed on the V7 released page and the one on the Verizon web site? There not the same size. I used the Verizon one..wonder if that could be the problem??

I don't know the exact difference between the two and why they are not the same size. But there have been several people that have had issue installing a hybrid over the official OS from Verizon.

    Hi there,

I've been using v7 for the past week or so and have noticed something strange going on with the keyboard. If I don't do a battery pull or use quickpull for awhile, the characters on the keyboard start to shift position and are no longer aligned. For example, the character 'g' seems to drop down and isn't aligned with the characters next to it and is lower than the rest. Same with some of the other ones, they'll either be higher or lower and won't be aligned.

Any ideas on why this is happening? is anyone else having similar issues? =/

The 4.7.0.148 - V7 is a hybrid meaning BBcrackman took compenents from a number of different OS's and compiled them into one. The one on the VZW website is just straight .148.

Are you using any tricks for making the phone type better. For example, are you using the paper under/over the battery? This can affect the layout of the keyboard.

Hi, I was referring to the 4.7.0.148 OS file being a different size then the 4.7.0.148 available on the Verizon site =).One would think these would be identical.

The one on the VZW site supports multilanguage, the leak I believe did not, hence the difference in size.
