    I re-sent the service books, updated PRL and did a battery pull. I sent a new ringtone with a message and my niece did not get the file.

    Last time it worked was before i installed V7 148. I could also see prior to V7 in the sent message the file i sent with the note. Now when i open the sent message it's empty (the note and the attach the file are not there) i see nothing. I also tried it without a message and the same thing, nothing.

    Any other suggestions? Thanks

    Try going to options, advanced options, host routing table - BB key, click register now. The do a battery a pull. Try sending the message and see if it works.

    I did that. isn't that re-sending service books?

    Yes but in a different fashion. Give it a shot can't hurt IMO.

    OK i went to https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=vzw&locale=en
    and re-send service books. Did battery pull for 30 sec and Received messages that activation was done. Sent MMS to my Niece and she did nto receive it.

    I have also done a lot or reading on this, It isn't working in lyric's hybrid either. So this lead me to believe that there is something wrong with 151 if these files were taken from there for MMS.cods? or where ever they were taken from.

    Hope this helps in getting a fix. Thanks for all your help.

    I waited a couple of days before I did v7. as there were a few posts that went against the recommendation to wipe and they had no problems [& the term was contrary to what I consider what a wipe does]. I decided to load v7 over .148 just as I did v6 over .132 & .132 over .075. All seem to work OK except a couple of applications that had some issues. Then a few days later all hell broke loose & I knew that the OS was corrupted. So I found the BBSK app. used that, reinstalled .148 [found an answer to my question if I needed to remove the previous OS’s from C:… yes] & v7. Big difference. I also did about ˝ hour of battery pulls. I thought I backed up everything, but it appears that the apps went away. I found the “How to backup 3rd. party apps” which I’ll do next. So from my experience, it might look OK for a while, but take the BBCrackman’s advice and when he puts it in bold.. do it!

    I am having one problem in setting up my email. I go through the setup and I get an error message “your device encountered a problem with this server”. My "configuration" is: In Options/Mobile Network/ Data services/on Mobile Net/VZ Network mode/Auto Net Tech 1xev [also tried Global]. Service book is all "checked". Do I need to re-send [if that might be an issue & if so how?. I also followed an earlier thread to do a “Host routing table” [& got a reply from VZ] What else am I missing?

    I was one of the few that has NEVER done a wipe, and everything works perfectly with V7. Maybe one day I will pay for it but until then I've had V7 from day one and its much easier then a wipe and having to reinstall everything. I even used SHRINK when I installed V7 which was advised not to do.......

    Glad to hear Harly I used Shrink as well and have had zero issues
