HELP>>>>>>>>HELP>>>>>... I have been running v7.4.0.151, platform 4.0.0.181 for a couple of weeks now. I am not super over the top thrilled with this OS, but it is the best my Storm has ever been. I am not seeing the speed others have talked about, and I am seeing the spinning clock more and more.
Now today for some reason when I put the phone in its holster and took it out, it re-booted. Each time with an uncaught exception as it came back online. This has happened three times today, and two times yesterday. I have not had any random reboots at all until yesterday.
I was running AmaZe GPS application when it rebooted. Today, nothing is running in the background, not even Twitterberry. But I did install Ubertwitter Beta 3, but it is not running in the background.
Ideas....fixes....helps?
Alright so nobody knows how to fix the media card issues? Well how about this new thing I forgot to note-not sure if its the OS but whenever I'm on the internet and its loading (or even an app that uses data) I do not receive calls, I just get an email that says I have a voicemail (youmail) so what's the deal? I don't think I had this problem before. And can someone help with the other issues too please, thx in advance. Seems I'm finding more and more issues with this OS the longer I have it-like phone calls eating up my battery life big time. And another annoyance is when my phone unlocks sometimes when I get a calendar event or other alerts.

Perhaps you might think about wiping your phone and reinstalling the OS. But only reinstall the OS not your 3rd party apps and contacts. You should add those back manually. Sometimes a directory can become corrupt causing all sorts of weird things to happen.
As for speed, I prefer the Radio from 132. It is faster, IMHO, and I never get the spinning clock.
First off welcome to BBOS.
As for the media card issue I will do some research on this as I do not have an immediate response.
The limitation of CDMA is that you cannot make phone calls and browse the internet (or other data services) at the same time or vice versa. It's built into code and there is no way around unlike GSM 3G which allows for simulataneous data connections.
RE: battery. My recommendation is to drain your battery all the way until your phone completely shuts off. Then recharge your battery back to full. This semi-flashes your battery and has generally given very positive results with respect to increasing battery life.
