I installed the .114 Hybrid on friday, took all of 30-45 mintues start to finish and I have to agree with everyone else it is the best OS my storm has ever seen, many thanks to BBcrackman.
Odd thing is today I lost my LED indicator (all 3 colors) even though I have all set to run in the ON position, resaved and did a batt pull but no light. I also noticed that the dimmer is working as the screen starts to go to black though I have the dimmer OFF with the automatic dim out set at 10 sec, the dimmer then kicks in for around 10 secs then full black. Anyone else have this happen?
Update,
I plugged into the usb cord for sh*ts and giggles and boom the green led came on, ran DM for updates and it is working fine. I normally use the wall charger in bedside mode so I can't tell you what did it or why plugging in USB power fixed it but it did.
I don't have the led problem but I do have the dimmer issue. My dimmer is set to off and yet I have to keep touching my screen to keep it from fading into the night.
I was just about to install the 1st hybrid, but with this big news, I think I'll wait.............

We are currently discussing a release date for this. He is currently testing it right now. We are talking about maybe an early next week release date.

Allbeit, I am very greatful for the .114 hybrid, but theres still a pretty bad memory leak. If there was to be a better OS, why would you need to hold a contest? Just post it for everyone. Within minutes it will be on rapidshare and on every BB Blog out there.

loaded the new hybrid 114 OS yesterday and noticed two things.
1 - The battery life is depleting crazy fast. I went through a full battery in 7 hours with only a couple phone calls and text messages.

I did 2 battery pulls, but they didn't do anything to help.
You may be the only one to experience this. I can go days with out having to charge my battery. I also have my GPS running 24/7 as well and it still doesnt drain. You may want to wipe your phone with JL then reinstall.Quote:

Could be just a plain battery issue, I had verizon replace min twice and now it last almost 2 full day with heavy usage.
Just a thought, I will help any way I can
