Thread: Error loading .148v6

Just wiped my BB and tried to load .148v6 shrunk using the loader program and came up with an error " The application "blackberry 4.7 core applications" cannot be loaded because some required files are not available."

Any help?

I would uninstall all OS from your PC, restart, then just start over....

1. Download and install .148 to PC
2. Download v6
3. Run the hybrid installer per instructions
4. Load onto phone

+1 sounds like you have a corrupted file somewhere. As usual Olta is spot on

Not sure what happened, uninstalled OS from PC and reinstalled 148 and then v6, shrank and installed, no problems this time. I'm doing battery pulls nows. Got my fingers crossed. Thanks for the help and I love this forum, very helpful and informative.
