Thread: How Long Until We See a 151 Hybrid for 9530?

Just a thought. This would help take the sting out of the fact that official 148 is no different than leaked 148.

I wonder what V6 would look like over 151? Or lyricidal's 5.0 files? I gather we could just load the 151 (9500) Java into the OS and the run V6 or load the 5.0 files.

Maybe something to do this afternoon....

How long before we see 5.0 for 9530?

I'm surprised 151 is out. I really figured the first leak after the official 148 would be 5.0. That's the one I'm excited about. C'mon C'mon........hurrrrryyyyy!

Nah those files are from 9000.

Yes, some 5.0 files. But they aren't for the 95xx device. They are for the 9000. So we are all eager for a 95xx specific 5.0 build.

If history proves itself correct we will be seeing .151 for 9530 in the next 24-48 hours. My personal belief is it will be sometime before we see a 5.0 leak. RIM is heavily guarding this OS and even it does leak they will probably take steps to take it down. I think we still have a few more 4.7 leaks ahead of us but I'm just speculating.

Yep, you're right j. But I'm not sure I want 151. I can't live without a custom theme. That is, unless BBC can make it work. hmmmmmmmmopcorn:

All I can say is that I won't be changing to 151 or anything else until BBC and his partners in crime say it's ok to do so!!!!:hmmm:

Question: if I run V6 over 151, would most/all of the 151 files be replaced (whether by 5.0 files or by prior 4.7 files such as 148)?

Would someone who has the Java folder from 151 for 9500 be so kind as to post the same? I cannot install 151 for 9500 on my Yankee PC. :Eyecrazy:

Nikki has been watching the attempts at putting in the .151 files and it doesn't promising :chairshot:

We need BBC out of the lab to shed some light on this one IMO
