611 is 6-11 Monday - Saturday (for a live person) closed on Sundays (I believe).

Well as many said .148 is available but I am in the Northeast if that's helps in the reasoning everyone does not have availability yet and I also used my desktop manager program which took about an hour to get my storm fully functional again. I am very satisfied with the better response ,features etc so far!!.

I got the email a couple hours ago, but I'm already running straight .148. What a disappointment. I definitely must install BBC's v6 now, since RIM isn't improving the browser in this current release.

We don't notice the improvements as we have the luxury of leaks and hybrids, but for people that will be upgrading from .75 to .148 it's going to be a huge difference!!!

Yep, no doubt about that. Funny how BBC and Lyri know so much about the work that RIM is doing, and they improve upon it, yet RIM seems to have no clue about what those 2 are doing.
I think the RIM developers should subscribe to this site so they can get some insight as to what the storm community wants!

This was very odd...
I was in DM, looking to DL a theme I had saved, and after choosing my file, I got a message asking if I wanted to be notified by email when another os upgrade come out,(like I wouldn't know...hanging around here and all...)
anyway...so i enter my email addres...confirm it...and then it shows that it's going to load all my apps....and then proceeds to backup my phone, and downloads .148 to my phone. All I wanted was my theme, now I get to reload V6. No biggie, just weird how it just automatically "upgraded" my os, when all I opted for was a theme I had.
....very odd indeed !!
