Thread: Help with Hybrid install

I just tried to download hybrid and failed but now my phone keeps having the hourglass spinning and won't let me go anywhere.. any suggestions except batterypull? What causes it?? thanks peeps!!!

What steps did you take to download the hybrid?

tried shrink the os. Tried to download it to my bb. I am retarded when it comes to hybrid. Followed the instruction on youtube.

Ok so I assume you had .148 installed on your PC (with no other OS's installed)
Installed V6 on top of .148 on your PC
Run shrink (browse to your OS folder) select the options you want to remove
Click launcher loader button and you should be good

Did you disconnect from the internet when attempting to upgrade?

After that finishes then run shrink and click the launch loader button

**Now be sure to have all other OS's deleted off your PC except for .148**

Download V6 without the .90 unless you want to test out and see if .90 will like your phone

now the .148 installed on your PC is that a fresh clean install as well?

On your phone go to options.about it should show Version .148 platform .181

Then go to options>advanced>applications>highlight system files and push bb button and select modules scroll down the list and you should see 5.0 files mixed in with the 4.7 files


If you do then you are successful

Yay!!! I got it finally. But now my biggest question is.... I don't need to OS from VZW that comes out today?

Nope they are releasing the same .148 you just installed the hybrid over
