Thread: Quick Question (maybe dumb) about OS changes

I have the leaked .148 installed on my PC and I've been trying out all of the different hybrids that have surfaced (thanks to all for your work).

Can I copy the base 9530-v4.7.0.148_P4.0.0.181 folder (and all its sub-contents) from my primary drive to an external drive that way if I choose to change hybrids I can just copy it back to the primary so that I have the leaked .148 base that I can re-hybridize?

I've been uninstalling the .148hybrid then reinstalling the base .148 but, damn, it takes a while.

Yes you can. That way if you dont like what your running you can just copy the whole OS folder back ove what you installed on your PC.

The only dumb question is the one not asked....

asnyder, yes, I just move my loader files to a folder I named BBOS. I also do a wipe each time I want to change to get a clean install. I have all of the hybrids in the folder and I add a comment to the file name to know how it worked.

yes you can do that, my suggestion is zip the java folder from the leaked .148 and save it to the external drive to save some space too.
