I of course will stick with v6 as well, after all it's obvious BBC is smarter, harder at work, more concerned with his "customers" and the customer support/service is WAY better than VZW or even RIM for that matter(I bet he doesn't have a thick middle eastern accent either!) It's just too bad he's not more in control of the actual service cuz I got 5 phones and an air card on my account and would be happy to send him the house-payment sized check I write for the Verrizon bill each month! At least it would feel like money well spent for a change.

Yes it is if they changed anything from the leaked version it would have to be changed from .148 to a higher number.

I wanna compare file dates from the leak to the official. Cause 148 was nothing but trouble for both my phones. plus no one can hear me on this thing unless im using aBT Headset!!!!! :crying:

It's for that exact reason many of us will be using a hybrid or another leaked OS rather than using this official release.

Yea...it's like I had .148 and then BBC made it better with V6 !!!

So why would I take a step "backwards" and go with .148 "official"...unless I want to try that as my base...can't think of any other reason to use it.

Really love V6...best BBC cocktail to date IMOP. !!!!

Is there going to be any difference between the leak and the official? They are the same build, right? ohhhh..... I am running the 148 Hybrid V6 by you know who.....:firedevil:

No there isnt any differences between a leak and an official, same exact file

That's right...Just recently I was playing with my storm at work...and this person comes up to ask as question and sees my storm...then he says "how do you like your phone?" I said, love it!!! Then he goes, "I hated mine and returned it...it was slow, froze on me..." and so on...I told him, "well I am running a really good software and mine flies!" I could tell the disappointment on his face, kind of like regret ....to bad for him:laugh2:

203 is the release number not the platform number.

Like jlevy73 said, .203 is the release #. If you look at the file name, there are 3 numbers. There is .148(applications/OS), then .181(platform) and .203 (release).

Sometimes a little patience will work and also do a search on your computer for the blackberry storm software updates will help. Never give up on a Storm approaching......Lol

I know...I am glad, I stuck it out, cause I totally love this phone....I change my themes almost daily and props to everyone else that stuck it out as well!!! But biggest props go to our hybrid creators!!!
