I had lyricidal's version that he put up when 148 was leaked. It was a complete wreck! I am thoroughly relieved to have a bbcrackman hybrid running again. Thank you.

Anytime Red glad it worked. As my good friend Cruz said the only thing you can expect from the Storm is that when you pull the battery out of the phone the power will turn off. Beyond that it's a crapshoot.

Good Morning to all.
My name is Michael Evans. This will be my first post on this particular forum.
So let me first start by saying thanks to all who contribute to sites like these. You guys have made my first time owning a BB a real pleasure. I've been through every .exe leak since .75 and I've never flatlined my Storm. With that being said, I have seen many users running to these sites after they have borked theirs. "You can observe a lot just by watching" Yogi B. So I'm way off topic now. Sorry
I've posted on other sites that I would have rather not install Hybrid's. But I think I ready to turn the leaf. I feel like the Storm is still missing something even after the MR2. I also realize that it is 1st Gen.
My question, I'm currently running .148 without any issues. Mem steadies out between 32 MB and 36 MB after booting at 47 MB. Standard apps as most. Not having battery issues. (ie...apps are not pushing all the time) I backup device regularly as well as 3rd party apps. I've got the Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 SP 1 installed on my PC. (Could some explain to me how this is integrated into this particular discussion.) Do I need to just download the Hybrid, install per direction onto my PC then run Loader.exe via USB cable to my device since I already have .148 onto my BB?

I doesn't necessarily matter what version you have on your phone. All you need to worry about is having 148 installed on your pc. Then its just a matter of downloading v6 and following BBC's instructions. It's a very easy process. Let us know if you need any help and welcome to BBOS.

Yes, thanks Natemz...
It does sound like a very easy process.
One question though...How does the Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 SP 1 come into play?
Just wanting to understand..

So when I ran the Loader.exe the wizard presented me with this. How should I proceed?
