Hey Cruz, I bricked first, then wiped to restore! I bricked my phone less than 1 week after purchase! It is my first bb and I bought it off ebay to use on Alltel, (I am now officially merged to VZ) I panicked when it happened and thought I had royally messed it up. I reactivated my palm treo for a week until I searched the internet and found this site to fix it! Then I realized you don't live til you brick a berry!!! THANKS TO ALL HERE!!!!!

You may find this hard to belive, I've never bricked my Storm. I loaded, installed, and deleted almost every OS released. In the same breath, I do not run 3rd party software nor have I ever wiped. Just wondering if there may be a correlation between the two.Quote:

As for my phone I never wipe or I should say I never wipe with a 3rd party app. since apploader gives you the option to do a wipe on your phone for you before you do an install. When you click through apploader on the next window after it shows you the program list click advanced and there you can chose to do a wipe before install.
I am sure there are some decent 3rd party apps. but for me why go thru another program to do what Apploader already can do and does very well.
