Thread: Help with App Error 205

While doing anormal OS install, I lost power just on the last step and received not a 507 error but 205. Is this totaled? I tried JL Cmd to wipe and it wouldn't even connect. Any assistance would be a blessing

No worries. If you have Crackmem, wipe with it and it will force Loader to boot and you should be good to go.

disconnect your device from your pc, do a battery pull, reconnect you device, start JLcmdr, before you get the blue line, option 4 (wipe) if it does not connect keep doing option 4 until it connects. Once it does it will wipe your device and you can reload

So far s Good..Got into Loader and it appears to be running ok..Will advise when finished. Thanks again

I got that error 20 times in 2 days when I was trying to get the .cod files right on the Quicklaunch Fix. lol

1st time for me..Normally get the 507-but htis got me nervous since JLCmdr wouldn't see the phone..no prob..thanks bud

Didn't even get that..Had WSOD with app error 205 in middle with reset below it..

Damn..still got error 205 after using loader..Will try again...lol

It could be the os on your PC. Maybe try unistalling it and re-installing. It could be corrupt.

Worked..Apparently I didn't give it a change to do its thing, first time around. All set now..Thanks again

Quick ?: What PC Operating System or Desktop Manager are you running? I'm using Window 7 now, and DM 5.0.

5.0 never gave me this problem, but since updating to Window 7, it has happened every time.

Shane and others,I've run this damn thing as suggested twice, and it loads fine via loader, but when finished and after rebooting, I still get that d**m 205 error..still need help

What OS are you trying to load?

First when using the loader, it doesn't ask what os..Im not using app loader but loader.exe in the directory. I'm loading whatever, it shows.

Should I use the App loader in DM?

What are you wanting to load?

I was trying to load .132 using your Hybrid and then adding the 148 radio..Then I lost power and error 205..I can load 75 is I can get apploader working and then go from there. At least I'll have an os working on the phone
