The latest upgrades just seem to do with the media loader. Do you think that would fix Quicklaunch?

No, Quicklaunch v2 still doesn't work with this upgrade.
Looks like you might need just the straight OS 148 for it to work.

I might be misunderstanding your post but if you're showing an sfi file (4.0.0.114), that sounds like you've got the .90 OS radio loaded on your phone.
If you're trying to get a good load of .148, I'd suggest you first remove all the device OS(s) from your PC (using Control Panel) and reboot the PC. Then go back and double check there are no loader files present in C Program Files> Common Files >Research in Motion> shared>loader files.
If there is anything there...DELETE IT! and just for kicks and assurance, reboot your PC once again.

Then download and install a clean copy of .148 on your PC, Reboot.
Finally, install it on your phone.

    HELP

I have just wiped my 9500 with JL Commander
Installed Vodafone UK 141 OS. - All working OK

Then installed Lyricidal's .148/5.0 Hybrid with Shrink-A-OS. onto my XP Computer.

Then tried to use Shrink-a-os to install Lyricidals 148 over 141.
Launcher starts up when I click Next, I get this error message:

"The device does not have sufficient storage space to accomodate your application selections. Please select fewer optional".

I havent yet restored my data or Third part applications yet..

IN Shrink-A-OS I removed: All languages except for UK English,
AIM, Flickr, VZN Navigator VCAST RHapsody, BB Maps and I did not select any fixes.

I also manually deleted the following from the java folder:
    net_rim_bb_medialoader_360x480_t.cod
    net_rim_bb_medialoader_backgrounds_360x480_t.cod

Any ideas on a work around, tried searching but no luck.
