i must have been confusing 2 software components....the 4.7 148 and the regular 4.7 I couldnt load DM with the 148 download to restore back up had to reinstall cd 4.7 to restore.
When going to add remove programs to delete which one do I keep ?

nevermind I see the error in my ways. I thought the download gave me a full program for some reason I wasnt able to get dm through it unless I check run app.....I opened 4.7 from cd and still had 148 installed then selected update and was able to select 148.........sweet BTW I have 2 one for me one for my son.

You may be cause there is 4.7 Device Software (which is OS) and 4.7 Desktop Software (which is DM) in add/remove programs. Anyways, I am glad you got it working...

Yes guys thank you all very much going good so far new software much much better also lost my browser but found out how to push through again....Second BB storm upgrade was a cinch since I didnt have to look for the software to reinstall backup!
Doing good slight freezes now and then nothing major....to be continued :-)

Those are paid. When you are adding apps, some can leak memory so just watch them closely. That's why meterberry is a mustAlso with bbs, since they are like computers, you need to restart them every few days to optimize performance (battery pull). Enjoy!

I am listening to 70's and 80's on pandora downloaded a star wars light saber Google maps quick pull a few more themes world app and tweeked my touch settings dang....Yes Better get meter berry....HOLY SMOKES I am IN HEAVEN! BTW the wife isn't talking to me buried in the BB for 2 days hahahahaha!

so far so good on the straight 75 to 148 a light freeze here and there nothing to worry about.
The apps I pay for are only good for my phone (son has storm too) noticed I gave pin can I share?

Yeah, the apps are only for your phone...it's a bummer...you might want to try and give him the OTA link, but if they require an activation code, they won't work. Glad you got your phone to where it should have been from the beginning
