Welcome to BBOS Xenroy :) I understand your frustration with .75 I think most all of us have been there at one point or another. I would suggest BBCrackman's V5.1 .132 hybrid as that has been super stable for a lot of people.
Check out this thread
http://www.blackberryos.com/forums/9...w-gps-fix.html
If it is something you want to give a go then follow the instructions in this thread (it is for V5.0 but 5.1 installs the same)
http://www.blackberryos.com/forums/9...n-v5-here.html
And lastly don't hestiate to ask if you have any questions everyone on BBOS will jump to answer them for you.

Thank you as well.. What does Hybrid mean exactly? What is better, different. is there a thread that describes it/talks about it?
Thanks again for the warm welcome i have been trolling around and decided to join. I have read a bunch and it feels jumbled in my mind now. :headache:

If you want my take on things...go with the 148 Straight with nothing done to it and see if that works out. Than as you start getting the hang of things start using the hybrids and than you can start mis-matching as you go.
Remember all phones are different and will react different per individual so keep that in mind. May work great for one but for the other it may really suck. Good Luck with everything and keep us posted.
Welcome and enjoy your stay here at BBOS! Please come again! :p

Yes for starters I would definitely recommend just straight update. Then once you see what its all about, you can try something different. :).
