The wipe is because your phone has the same OS as DM has, and when you wipe it takes the OS off the phone. Also, if you dropped the QL fix cods in your java folder you should not have to fix that again.
I must be the only addict not on the QuickLaunch juice. UKJay was busting my chops about it yesterday.

Shane done and done. As far as I can tell there is one file that controls BT: net_rim_bluetooth.cod.

I have run every iteration known to mankind to resolve it.

    1. Took the SFI from 148 and used the java .132 (did not work)
    2. Took the cod file mentioned above from 132, 113 and 109 used it with .148 (did not work)
    3. Took the .132 SFI and replaced the 148 SFI but using the java files (WORKED)
    4. Laded V5.1-132 over 148 (WORKED)

So my results conclude that it is the SFI at fault not the cod file that is of course unless there are more than one cod file responsible for BT.

Maybe I need to add a step (or a half-step) for former QL users.

On another note, v5.1 with the 148 sfi file is running awesome.
does it matter which v5.1 we use over 148? I know there is v5.1 for 132 and v5.1 for 141. Which are you using? Thanks in advance.

v5.1 for .132, you would use .132 as base and .132 radio.....
v5.1 for .141, you would use .141 as base and .141 radio.....

    and if you want .148,
use .148 OS as base (with .148 radio) and copy v5.1 over

    Good luck

Wow! I'm sorry to hear about the various .148 issues surfacing. I can not explain this but at 30 hours run time on .148, I am not experienceing any of the memory or speed issues reported by some and my BT works perfectly on both my Motorola BT headset and my BT interface in the car...no volume or connectivity issues. If memory is going to tank, it should start right about now. I'm monitoring pretty closely.
I've never been a firm believer about the hardware differing in these 9530's but I'm really starting to wonder...and if that turns out to be the case, finding the ideal OS for everyone is going to be almost impossible.
