Java error message on start up

I'm getting this error message on start up now:

    Uncaught exception:java.lang.nullpointerexception

Any idea what it is and how to correct it?

You're missing some file so when you start your phone up its giving you this error. I would reinstall the OS.

OK... This tells you how finicky a BlackBerry is... The problem was caused because I had saved a contact from my SIM card to my Contacts list. I deleted that and rebooted and no error!

I got that error message when I did an OS update.

Ended up wiping the phone with JL Commander and reinstalling.

    Problem solved.

Not surprised to hear that. Nonetheless, glad you got it resolved.
